Miss Coppen Room
Looking for a smaller meeting room or party venue? Named after a former member of the church who donated the money to build the additional space, the Miss Coppen Room at St Luke’s is perfect for children’s birthday parties, business meetings, training sessions, and community groups.

Church
Spacious, Flexible Event Space in Maidstone
St Luke’s Church is occasionally hired out at the discretion of the vicar and offers a fully carpeted, flexible event space ideal for conferences, concerts, celebrations and large gatherings. With seating for up to 250 guests and a dedicated stage, the venue is perfect for both formal and informal events. Enjoy modern amenities including high-speed WiFi, a professional sound system, and large display screens for presentations or performances. The church is equipped with eco-friendly, ceiling-mounted chandelier heating for year-round comfort.
At the rear of the church, there is a serving area with a full-sized kitchen, perfect for catering events and a convenient hatch opening to the foyer. Toilets including an accessible toilet are located off the foyer, which is a shared space with the Hall. The foyer itself is a light and airy gathering area with comfortable seating and windows overlooking the garden providing a welcoming atmosphere for your guests.
St Luke’s Church is the ideal venue for business events, community functions, and private celebrations, offering flexibility, comfort and excellent facilities.
Includes use of full kitchen (permission is discretionary): £450 per four-hour event (morning, afternoon or evening)
Additional fee for set-up and break-down time: £45/ hour
Church Garden
We are pleased to offer free use of the garden for your event lovingly maintained by our wonderful volunteers. This is in conjunction with any hire of the Hall and/or the Church.

St Luke's House
Discover versatile meeting room hire at St Luke’s Church, Maidstone. Our two fully carpeted meeting spaces cater to a range of needs, from business meetings and training sessions to tutoring and community gatherings.
- Meeting Room 1: Flexible space for up to 20 adults or children, with 4 folding tables at three adjustable heights. Features include high-speed WiFi, a presentation screen, and two large, double-glazed bay windows providing excellent natural light.
- Meeting Room 2: Ideal for smaller groups, it accommodates up to 10 adults or children and includes 2 folding tables with height options. Enjoy fast WiFi, a screen, and a large window for a bright, welcoming environment.
Both rooms can be booked individually or together, with shared access to a kitchen/dining area equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and a dishwasher (no cooking facilities) and toilets (including accessible toilet). Perfect for meetings, workshops, and small events in Maidstone.

Availability
Room hire is generally available from:
- Sunday: by specific arrangement only.
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 9:30 pm
- Friday and Saturday: 8:00 am – 10:30 pm
But this is subject to prior bookings both regular and one-off.
Car Parking
The Main Church Car Park is in Foley Street and has 25 spaces.
Fees and Deposits
50% of hire fee is required to confirm booking. Balance is due 8 weeks prior. Full payment for bookings if booking within 8 weeks. Payment by BACS preferred:

£75 cleaning/deposit required before key collection. Will be refunded after site has been assessed by Facilities Manager as having been left in a satisfactory condition & keys returned.
Minimum Booking Fee: £55 (applies to short one-off hires)
The discounted rate applies to church members and regular hirers. A regular hirer is someone who hires a room at least nine times a year. Charities and similar organisations are welcome to contact us to see if the discounted rate may be available but there is no guarantee.
