Hi, I'm Barbara and I am married to John. We moved to Maidstone in February 2018, to be closer to our youngest daughter and help with our grandson, while I was completing Reader Training at Sarum College, Salisbury. We have been at St. Luke's Church since April 2023 and are pleased to have found our spiritual home. I enjoy the passionate worship; the love shown for our God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; and the love shown for each other.

Favourite Food: Roast dinners and Fish dishes. Favourite Tipple: Red wine. Favourite Sport: I used to play tennis; and still enjoy watching matches. Also football, so I am able to have some understanding of John and our grandchildren's favourite sport! Favourite Space: In the countryside.

Hello, I am Clare and I have the privilege of serving St Luke’s, coordinating Pastoral care. Dave and I arrived in St Luke’s in July 1988 with our young family and have seen many changes over the 30 odd years that St Luke’s has been our spiritual home. When our children did not need me so much I went to train at Canterbury as an ALM studying Ministry and Theology for two years and have been involved with pastoral care ever since. We love getting our extended family together, it’s such fun!

Hi I’m Donella and I have been connected with St Luke’s all my life. As an adult St Luke’s has been my home for over thirty years and has helped me celebrate many milestones- confirmation, marriage and baptism of each of my four children. I have been involved in many teams over the years and it is now my pleasure to serve as Church Warden. I am excited about what I see God doing at St Luke’s and playing my small part in it.

I am the clinic manager and a music therapist for Growing Hope Maidstone - a charity which provides free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in Maidstone. Hello! I'm Megan, the Children & Families Pastor here at St. Luke's. I have the absolute joy of journeying with our youngest church members (and their grown-ups!) as we discover faith, the wonder of God, and possibly snack crumbs in equal measure. Alongside the children’s work, I’m known for making ChatGPT memes that no one asked for and helping to head up the Young Adult’s ministry as a volunteer. I like to bring joyful, organised-chaos and I’m convinced the Holy Spirit can work through glitter glue and bubbles. When I'm not at church I’m usually grabbing coffee with friends, doing something creative or listening to worship music!

My name's Susan Ghinn. After many years of serving St Luke's as Treasurer I now have the privilege  of serving  as Team Chaplain. We moved to Maidstone and St Luke's in 1988. 10 years later we moved, first to Rio de Janeiro for 3 years, then various other places. We returned to Maidstone, where we have family and St Luke's in 2012 when Edward retired.
