Kids for 0-11 year olds

In term time our fun and friendly children’s groups meet on a Sunday morning at 10am. Our children’s team create a safe and engaging space for children to grow in their faith in Jesus.

We take the safety of all children very seriously and have a team who ensure all our kids groups are a safe place for children to thrive. All of our kids team are DBS checked. For more information on our safeguarding practices, please head to our safeguarding page.

Creche

We have a parent led crèche on a Sunday morning, where parents can watch the celebration on a TV Screen from the comfort of the sofas! There are short Bible stories and crafts for slightly older children in creche. We are blessed to have many tots and toddlers in our church!

HOLIDAY CLUB

Every year we host a holiday club for primary-aged children, with an amazing team of volunteers. We welcome children from across Maidstone and beyond for fun, laughter, friendship, games, craft and an adventure finding out more about Jesus. In 2023 at Easter we ran a “Backpackers” holiday club, “travelling” around Europe and learning lots about all that Jesus has done for us.

Kids

Children aged between 4 and 11 years (school year 6) meet during the 10am Sunday Celebration in term time. Typically once a term we gather together as a whole church for Family Sundays.

This is a great time for children to have fun, make friends and love Jesus more as they learn about Him and explore the Bible together. The engaging, interactive atmosphere encourages children to grow in their faith and express their gifts.

Café n Tots

Café n Tots welcomes parents, grandparents and carers with babies and pre school children, providing a  supportive café environment where people caring for small children, have the opportunity to chill, play with their children and make friends.  The children are provided with a variety of toys and activities, and served with drinks, fruit and biscuits. A singing together time happens at the end of each session.

The group usually meets twice a week during term time on a Monday and Thursday, 9.30-11.30am. Pre-booking is essential as spaces are limited. Spaces are typically available to book one week in advance.

A donation of £2 per session is suggested, with proceeds split between Demelza House Children’s Hospice, Heart of Kent Hospice and St Luke’s Church.

We look forward to welcoming you.
