Exploring Faith?
Whether you have found this page through our website or you received a free Bible and have followed the link, we are so pleased you’re interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. We would love to help you in any way that we can! Below are some suggestions of things you may find helpful but you can also complete the contact form if you would like one of our team to get in touch personally.
Sundays
Our Sunday gatherings are open to all, whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or you’ve been a Christian for decades. Most of the year we have both 10am & 6pm Sunday gatherings, both of which include refreshments, music, a talk, and prayer:
Morning Celebration
10:00am
Includes groups for children and youth (ages 0-14)
Evening Celebration
6:00pm
Includes groups for youth (ages 14-18)
ALPHA
Joining an Alpha Course is a great way to find out more about the Christian faith. It’s a friendly and informal space where you can explore questions about faith, life and meaning. Usually each session includes some food, a short video and a discussion in small groups.
BIBLE
We believe the Bible is one of God’s greatest gifts to his creation: full of wisdom, full of truth, full of God’s voice communicating his love to us.
Where to Start?
The whole Bible points in some way towards the good news of Jesus – the Son of God. If this is your first time reading the Bible then the specific stories of his life on earth are probably the best place to start. You will find them in 4 books called The Gospels – why not start with Mark’s Gospel (it’s the shortest!).
How to Read?
The Bible is a collection of books with styles of writing (e.g. narrative, poetic) but wherever you read, these questions might be helpful to reflect on:
- What does this say about God?
- How might this be relevant to me?
- How might I respond to this?
