Investing in the Kingdom

Giving is a core part of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. It is an expression of our gratitude to God. We give from our finances out of a natural response as we encounter God’s love towards us. So as followers of Jesus giving is part of our worship to God who gives us everything.

Ways to give

Standing Order

The most helpful way to give is in a regular committed way by bank standing order. This allows us to plan our finances much more easily. If you update an existing standing order please notify us, using the link below. To set up a new standing order, please download and complete the form, and submit to our treasurer.

Bank Transfer

The most cost effective way to give is direct from your bank to ours. Use our bank details for both UK and international transfers. If you prefer to write a cheque please make it payable to: St Luke’s PCC and send it to our treasurer via the church office.

Give Online

A simple and easy way to give, accessible via all devices is to give via ChurchSuite. Just click on the link to give regular and one-off gifts. You are able to choose particular projects or funds that you want to give to.

Text Giving

You can give one-off gifts by texting ‘STLUKES give 10’ to 07380 307 800 to donate £10 or ‘STLUKES give 20’ to 07380 307 800 to donate £20. You will then receive a text back with a link to our donate page in ChurchSuite with the donation details pre-filled, awaiting your confirmation. You can of course choose to give any amount and choose a particular fund.

Gift aid

If you are a UK tax payer, we encourage you to complete a Gift aid section of the form so that we can claim an extra 25 pence for each pound donated.
Please Note: To qualify for Gift Aid you must pay UK income and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax reclaimed on your donations.

A number of people have generously remembered the work of St Luke’s through legacies in their wills. If you would like information on how this may be done, please contact the Treasurer.
