Arriving By Train:
The nearest train station is Maidstone East. This is approximately 0.5 miles/a 12 min walk from St Luke’s. It is also possible to walk from Maidstone Barracks, this is approximately 0.8 miles/a 20 min walk.
Arriving By Bus:
The nearest bus stop is Hedley Street, on bus route 130, a service operated by Nu-Venture. Buses are infrequent and do not operate on Sundays. It may be preferable to arrive in Maidstone town centre and walk.
Arriving By Car:
St Luke’s has a main car park on Foley Street with 20 available spaces (ME14 5BE). For large events and at particular times of day this may be full. If this car park is full we invite you to park in a local nearby public car park, allowing local residents to park on the local roads (permits are required Mon-Sat for stays longer than 2 hours). The nearest public car parks are located at 60 Wheeler Street (ME14 1AU) and Jeffrey Street (ME14 1UD), both approximately 0.3 miles/a 7 min walk.
Accessible Parking:
We kindly ask that those with accessibility requirements are dropped off at the front entrance of the church on the church drive. If driving, permission may be sought on the day for vehicles to park on the church drive.
