April Update

Wow, what a great time celebrating the risen Lord Jesus on Easter Sunday together at St Luke’s, with many visitors and such a joy to baptise one of our young people. Do watch it again on Youtube:

A great testimony to the work of God in our youth ministry over many many years. As the angel said in Matt 20, “He has risen,” and he is able to do immeasurably more than we could ever ask of imagine (Ephesians 3:20)

Praise the Lord for the many wonders taking place in His Church at St Luke’s.

Easter Holiday Club

This week we welcomed over 46 children and their families into church for our annual Easter Holiday club. Thank you to Laura and our amazing team of volunteers who worked tirelessly to bless the children and share the good new of Jesus. Please do pray for transformed families, new life in Jesus and lasting fruit.

New Teaching Series

Over the next few weeks in our Sunday morning teaching we’re going to be reflecting on the Impact of Easter in our lives today. Then over the next few weeks in our monthly evening series we’ll be looking at what the Bible teaches us about how we treat each other as we look at the ‘one another’ saying in the New Testament. Let’s be open, praying and expectant that in our Sunday gatherings God moves powerfully by his Holy Spirit.

As we head towards the summer please can I ask us all to pray that planning, permissions and funding will all align so that we’ll be able to get the hall roof off and replaced over the summer.

With God’s love and blessing,
Gareth
