As we head into the summer, we wonder what you are hoping for?
Perhaps you’re longing for rest after a busy season. Maybe you’re seeking direction, strength, hope, or simply a fresh encounter with God. The wonderful news is that Jesus longs to meet with us!
Over the Summer months, we will have “Summer Sundays” – we meet at 10AM for a shorter celebration together as all ages. There are no evening celebrations until September.
There are, however, lots of different ways to connect as church family over the Summer months!
Here are a few of them:
Summer Sundays
Sunday 26 July – Sunday 30 August inclusive – Summer Sunday 10AM Celebrations. We will be looking at the theme of “Jesus and His Church”
All are welcome to join us!
Coffee & Refreshments afterwards.
Gentle Walk at Aylesford Priory
An event for all but particularly suited to those of us who would have liked to join in with the recent All-Age Pilgrimage but would prefer something shorter and slower. We have the answer!
A gentle stroll round The Rosary Way, at The Friars, Aylesford Priory is being arranged for Thursday, 30th July at 11.00am.

Single Friendly Church Lunch
Join us on Saturday, 9th August, in the church garden following the morning service.
Single Friendly Church is a space for people who are single, widowed, divorced, separated, or who simply come to church on their own. It offers an opportunity to build friendships, share fellowship, and feel connected within our church family.
Summer Cafe Run by 60s+
Join us every fortnight over the Summer for freshly baked cakes, tea & coffee hosted by our wonderful 60s+ team.
Tuesday 4 August & Tuesday 18 August 10AM – 12PM.
Rounders in Mote Park
On Sunday 23 August after the morning celebration, come and join us for a picnic and rounders in Mote Park!
We will meet in a shady spot not too far from the leisure centre car park.
Bring your own picnic, picnic mat or chairs & any games you’d like to play! At some point we will have a big team game of rounders.
Worship Round the Campfire Event
All ages are welcome to join us for an evening at the woods, close to Bearsted, Maidstone. We will have special access to a camp where we plan to spend time together as church family, toast marshmallows, and worship together round the fire pit! 🔥 (See picture above of the site!)

We know that the Summer is a season for many to rest and recover, but it’s also a time to seek God, lean into Him and learn from Him. It’s also a time to build community, so we hope to see you at some of these events over the coming weeks, and to see you on Sundays for the ones you are around! Visitors are always welcome also.
As a church helping people meet Jesus and grow as his disciples is at the heart of everything we do. We look forward to time together as church family over this Summer and pray those of you on holidays will have a blessed time and know God’s presence.
