We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to ask life’s big questions. What is my purpose? What happens when I die? Why is there suffering? Is there a God?

What is Alpha?

Do you have questions about life, God, the universe? Then Alpha is for you!

It is a weekly course to explore, ask questions about faith, life and its meaning.

Each evening includes a meal, a short film and a discussion where you can chat through your thoughts and questions with a small group of people just like you.

If you’re interested in exploring questions of life and the Christian faith then Alpha is for you.

When is the next course?

We are hosting an Alpha Course at St Luke’s Maidstone this Autumn 2023 on Wednesday evenings.

From Wednesday 27 September 7:30pm – 9:30pm you can enjoy a home-cooked meal, watch a short video, and meet lovely people to ask questions with, and explore the Christian faith.

It’s free!

What To Expect?

Alpha is an informal way of finding out more about the Christian faith. There are groups with leaders, but conversations are allowed to flow freely and any question is O.K. to ask.

At the beginning there is a home-cooked meal (for free) and it’s a chance to get to know other people in Maidstone, before watching a video exploring different questions about faith each week.

Everyone is Welcome

If you have never been to church before, you are welcome.

If you have done an alpha course in the past, but would like to do it again, you are welcome.
